Betting Nokia E7 So

Nokia E7 - Nokia, the world's largest mobile phone maker by volume, will introduce the latest model smart phones on the media and industry meeting next week.

Phone manufacturers will introduce their new flag E7 model - with a large touch screen and full keyboard - on exhibition in London, said two sources who know the immediate plan of Nokia, told Reuters.

Nokia will also launch a new model of N8 to the public, the first phone that uses the latest Symbian software 3, along with other new smart phone, the sources said.

Nokia N8 - introduced April and go on sale later this month - beating its competitors with 12 mega pixel camera, but it has a slower processor than the top model of Samsung, Galaxy, S, and the latest iPhone.

"When N8 introduced to the market, another device will be launched, Nokia hopes to lay the foundation stone for the recovery from the attack hit the market very competitive products," said Ben Wood, research director at CCS Insight.

"This is a big commitment to Symbian and Nokia to improve its competitive products using the latest Symbian operating system. Failure is not an option," said Wood.

Nokia Symbian operating system has not been able to attract a large number of interested software developers to create compatible applications, which is a key point for high-end mobile phone sales.

"We might see a good design with a focus on the touch screen plus a very competitive price, but the main question is: Have they actually improve the user interface?"
